There was a District Attorney who had the opportunity to
charge Sandusky’s ass long before he got arrested. They later found his
car abandoned and laptop in the Susquehanna river.
And to just make things more confusing he had his
(personal or work laptop? I read conflicting things) with him and that was found without its hard drive (later obtained and completely destroyed) in the Susquehanna River.
When investigators searched his home they were able to obtain some information regarding his internet searches, basically indicating that he wanted to learn how to destroy a hard drive.
